Ighalo is Africa’s 8th Best Player, Ndidi 17th

Odion Ighalo has been adjudged the eighth best player in Africa.
Ighalo, who was the only Nigerian in CAF’s top ten for the 2019 African Player of the Year award polled 14 votes from the total votes cast by the CAF Technical Group, selected media and former African players.
He finished behind Africa’s best Sadio Mane,Mohamed Salah,Riyad Mahrez, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Fabrice Onana, Kalidou Koulibaly and Hakim Ziyech.
His compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi was rated the 17th best player in the continent after he recorded two votes from the poll.
The Leicester City midfielder has been outstanding for both club and country in 2019.
