Brazil could lose its UN vote due to $400m debt ― Officials

The Federal Republic of Brazil risks losing its vote at the United Nations (U.N.) unless it pays some of the $400 million it owes before the end of the year.
The largest country in both South America and Latin America according to VOA News report accrued a debt of $415.8 million of which $143 million is owed for 2019.
The United Nation’s voting rule requires a participating nation not to owe in arrears an amount that equals or exceeds the contributions due for the previous two years.
